What is Register2Vote?

Register2Vote is a nonpartisan, registered 501c4 non-profit whose goal is helping people get registered to vote wherever they are.

Anyone can fill out the Register2Vote online application to register to vote. We then mail you a voter registration card, pre-filled with your information, and a prepaid return envelope already addressed to your county or state election officials. All you have to do is sign the registration form and put it back in the mail. We use USPS tracking technology to ensure that your registration gets exactly where it needs to go, and that it arrives safely at your local County Registrar.

Register to vote from your home -- without a printer, envelope, or stamp. To get registered, just:

Register2Vote serves as a near approximation of universal online voter registration that fully complies with all of the legal requirements under applicable state laws by way of remote printing and mailing.

What is MapTheVote?

MapTheVote is a project of the 501c4 non-profit Register2Vote. MapTheVote aggregates publicly available data and provides analysis on locations that are likely to have unregistered, eligible voters living at them.

The map is a guide to help coordinate and improve voter registration around the country. It has been built primarily by volunteers from many organizations, and is funded by Register2Vote and its founders.

MapTheVote doesn't expose any personal data -- it's just a way for those who wish to register voters in their communities to more easily connect with potential voters. Best of all, MapTheVote is completely free for anyone to use.
